ugh, I would have to disagree with your statement regarding PSN games.
Look at Psychonauts!
Now look back at COD!
Look at Beyond Good and Evil!
Now look at your logic!
It really depends on what kind of game it is. If it's another COD, which appeals to the mass, sure the dev/publisher will hit a jackpot without even bothering about used-game sales. Ratchet and Clank isn't as popular (not even close!!!) and yet every game of the series is more polished than any COD out there. So great games don't equal great profits.
It's no coincidence when FPS is the most popular genre of this generation and great single-player-only games h...
Karma? XD
why sony?
huh? Didn't Sony drag Hotz to court a couple of months ago?
Watch out for Annon, Blizzard!!! You've just given them an excuse to show their faces again (figuratively lol)
What's with all the so-called gaming journalists writing articles about what big companies should do this or do that to be successful, as if they know better than people who are actually in the business? And what's the point? Would big corps listen to random opinions on the internet?
What are you referring to? Internet Explorer?
@otherZinc: What choices do Xbox gamers have?
Lol Yes yes, we're in the core gamers' paradise. How is the casual hell for ya?
Bought the game after trying the single player demo. Turned out, the game is fucking confusing with 3 or 4 players, especially when two players choose the same character. God damn annoying when you try to do some precise platform trick and the camera doesn't help at all!!!
Oh really? May I introduce you to my WiiWii?
The first game was a blast but also quite a grid-fest. It's annoying trying to find the correct components for the items you want to trade for!!! Gotta read review before buying this one.
I think that 200,000 euros is applicable to the 10 days of seizure plus the days that LG fails to "completely" return all PS3s to Sony. So that would be at least 2 million.
@ssj2gohand83: LG had to pick and choose. If they had requested to seize all related Sony products, their fine would be a few million per day not just 200,000 euros. Moreover, I don't think they have enough storage space to keep them all. Therefore, they must have decided to hit where it hurts Sony the most, which is the PS3.
You forgot to add the proprietary HDD (cause that $300 bundle only has 4GB of HDD) and a Bluray 3D player for the Kinect bundle to bring it on par with the $400 Move bundle. It would be over $500, I can tell you that much!
I think most of the time, they don't realize that game of life also has rules, and these rules (the law) are most likely unhackable!
I'm small and fluffy too.
The pronunciation of the number 4 is similar to that of the word death in Japanese, hence the bad luck. However, the numbers after PlayStation have always been read as an English word. You may notice the "Plei-stay-shon Sree" after each PS3 commercial in Japanese. So my guess PS4 would be "Plei-stay-shon Foru." No bad luck here :)
