One thing annoyed me during the video is when the main character (Player) is hacking at the monster and it just stood there without attacking the player with it deadly looking claws at the 1:00 mark.

I have to disagree because the PS3 fans isn't going to miss too much of their games anyway. Valve is specialized with the PC and that where they should stay. I can already see them messing up badly with awful ports.
I am a die hard fan of the source engine, but source engine still is outdated by today standards. For example the hit boxes lags a little behind the character model. Pretty much like the overused UE3.
I have never pondered this question, but I am curious now. If the 360 controllers are wireless, then what type of signals are the 360 using? Surely it is not WiFi, infrared, or blue tooth. Otherwise, you would not have to buy an adapter.
I can be cynical and hypothesize that Microsoft could have use that wireless module for Wi Fi, but they want to sell more peripherals. $$$$

Microsoft is a software giant, so it is a big deal if something went offline. Somebody's head is going to roll. Usually only a small, single part of the network go down, like the friend list server or something. Now, if the entire network went down, some critical failure must have occurred. Everyone is right, media server feature have been used since forever. Even Winamp Remote can transfer data to your PS3 over the internet. I don't uses this feature much though.
