This is a blow to MS as to Sony when FFXIII went multiplat. Are past FFs games still exclusives? Yes. New ones are unlikely. Same with Bungie and their Halo or future games.
I prefer that Polyphony Digital takes as much time as they need. I loathe this generation where Developers are allowed to publish half assed games because they have the patching and DLCs excuses. It is mind boggling how people buys content that should already be in the game in the first place.

Some programs I use still have the floppy symbol for "Save File". I bet the youngsters are like "What the hell is that supposed to mean? Why did they draw the save button as a weird box?"
The floppy is iconic, I will be sad if the save button don't have the floppy picture anymore.
Multiplayer looks really fun. I am not a fan of Halo, but I can admit this looks very impressive. I have an Xbox Elite, too bad you have to pay to play online on XBOX360. Not that money is the issue with XBOX Live, it is the concept behind paying for what is free elsewhere/ you already paid for. That issue will be another debate for another day.
Looking forward to Single Player/offline CO-Op.
I cannot wait to play this on PC. Although I have a PS3, PC is always the best at everything. You also can mod the game files to your advantage. Sure it breaks the ToS Agreement, but it makes life easier. FFXI custom maps for example. Not to mention botting if you don't want to sit and grind fishing or something.

I read every game manual that I got when I first buy the game, it is part of the ritual for getting new games. Reading the manual often times gives you advantage over players that did not. I wonder how much restrictions and limitations Sony place on first party devs. So far, they seem okay because GT5 from Polyphony Digital is taking forever. They cannot rush them out the gate it seems, I am pretty sure Sony breathes down their necks all the time. Like every company, no body likes the controlling their every moves.
