Half Life is the game that really evolved the FPS genre. Using the same engine, it spawned numerous mods that became stand alone games themselves. Like Counter Strike and Team Fortress (Popular ones).
Who in the FPS world does not know of Counter Strike?
I wont even mention STEAM and digital distribution.
I don't see XBOX Slim happening with an arcade SKU out there already. Besides, MS are not good with hardware. They are only asking for more trouble shrinking a hot machine smaller. If XBOX Slim is true, I advice you guys to wait a little to see if there are any problems before buying. RROD is a real problem you know.

Aw, they ruined FEAR even more now. FEAR one is the best in the series. Everything turn bad after they decide to do consoles too.
It is okay with them releasing 3d capable games. Just don't buy glasses or new TVs if you don't want it. Having the option and ability to play in 3D is always a plus.
Explain to me how having the option to play in 3D or not depends on your liking and budget is compromising please?
I would get it for PC. Maxed settings on PC will look better than PS3. Assuming you have a good PC that is. In addition, you can tweak game files to your advantage.
