Not every download represents a loss of a sale. I downloaded the Crysis 2 Beta, but I already Pre-ordered it.
One of the worst written headlines I've seen in a while.
true, i got bulletstorm for $46 on d2d
I said that it looks cool. I don't know what all that ps3 360 stuff is
looks cool
They already said they are ditching it, it's just a one time validation log in, no need to be connected the whole time.
Loved AC2, so I'll be picking it up, and it's $50; ubisoft is learning on how to appeal to pc gamers, lets hope ea does, $60 games, jokes on them I've picked up DS2 and Bulletstorm of less than 50 each.
Thanks for the links, I've been looking for an excuse to replay the witcher, since there aren't really any great RPGs on the market until DA2.
The power of reading, wow
Link to the texture mod
Really? MGS4? It might just be me, but they have no emotional engagement at all, especially with all the CG in the game. The game that holds up in this department is the Half life games.
I get what you are trying to say, selling sex and girl to this crowd is like shooting fish in a barrel. I can't say that there is or isn't a community for gamer girls. But what I have a take issue with is that you say you are advertising towards a girl gamer community, but at the same time acknowledged that sex and girl sell, are you really doing what you state; trying address a specific part of a community.
And I know you can't respond because of the bubbles, s...
Ok, I'll admit that I didn't really read the story, I just assumed that it was another one of those stories. But lets not try to pretend that anything to do with gaming and girls is a ploy to get clicks, and if exploiting women to get advertising dollars isn't sexism, then I don't know what is.
1. What exactly are they speaking out out about?
2. By your logic it's not conceivable to have an opinion and be treated as a sex object. Nice job, what era do you still live in.
3. I was responding to the first post saying that they deserve to be respected for being girl gamers, what about just being respected for being a gamer, or just a girl.
And if you disagree, just look at the comments on this story. I guess the article did it's job, get clicks from gamers needing evidence that gamer girls exist and being eye candy.
If they deserve the respected they should be treated the same, which is kind of contradictory by making her Girl Gamer Month. This is just as sexist as the babe of the week or girls of gaming shit you see all the time
So glad that on the fly weapon moding is back.
The best thing EA could do right now is release the Multiplayer beta they were talking about, dx11 version. To try to get people hooked on the multiplayer, and seeing what the "real" version of crysis, to entise them to wait and buy the game. Personally, I'm going to wait, I bought a dx11 card, and I want to see crysis in all it's glory.
So much better than Shepard
The team behind the game are ex-battlefield modders who then became part of dice, after They became Kaos Studios where they made Frontlines: Fuel of wars, so they have multi-player pedigree and enough experience to make a multi-player game with lasting appeal.
So this guy is criticizingly a trailer for getting public awareness? This is why I don't read any games journalism articles, it's worse than reading comics.
Correction; comics are kinda cool, so I'll just say it's worse than reading manga
