Hold your horses buddy. Just because the PS3 has been doing ok doesn't mean that it's perfect and for all we know a problem could emerge with it as well. As long as MS fixed the issue and it goes away like the problems of PS2 then 360 will pick up steam like it should this holiday.
If Sony can fix there image after all the PS2 issues and PS1 problems then I have no doubt MS can do the same. As expected these types of stories will be popping up in hope of downplaying 360 once releasing a price drop. The rrod issue seems to be behind us like the PS2 problems but yet and still they choose to drag it on like typical fanboys. Sure the PS3 is probably a better value for ten years but the 360 is a better value for it's 5 or 6. I think the 360's focus is alot more then just gaming although thats it's primary focus on the cover. There actually ahead of Sony in all of the 3-prong areas you mentioned and are about to jump even further with Xna titles and the soon to be IPTv.
I'm saying I don't mind paying for Live even though I wouldn't mind it being free. 360 gamers get demo's first and better services so the 4 dollar a month issue doesn't bother me at all. As far as the rest goes I would never play a game online over wifi so that's not important and I don't need 4 ethernet ports, or care about boring azz looking Home lol. Just because you think something is a better deal does not mean it's a better for everyone else. If you like Sony and it's features then fine but some people don't so deal with it. Thats actually a good deal and pretty much gets rid of the need for buying an Elite. Now if they would drop the price of the 20 gig to something like 50 bucks then that would be impressive which of course will never happen lol.
Maybe they get paid from Xboxlive which would make sense. Also if I'm not mistaken the game was once a 360 exclusive and there main focus is 360 which also makes sense.
