Certainly shows that hitting all the right notes in a checklist of Story, Graphics, Gameplay, etc. during development isn't required to create a beloved and memorable game.
Holy hell, ladies and gentlemen...Relax. Not intended to be a serious analysis of anyone psyche.
Nice! Happy to hear it's still live! There were rumblings that the code had been invalidated...
Haha, right? I just couldn't resist scoring something for a very rainy day.
Isn't predicting these things just so stupid-fun?
Exactly why I added the "(and ultimately meaningless)" parenthetical. We're just having fun, man, with no intention of stirring up angry emotions.
...Whoa. I need to get out more. Any recommendation for a big fan of JRPGs with real-time combat systems?
Gosh, I miss the PS2 for its constant stream of oddball JRPGs...
It makes me feel so warm and fuzzy knowing that reviewers are giving so much attention to these low budget little titles.
Settle down, settle down. Everybody says this for PR reasons to make the actual announcement more meaningful. It's the same reason Microsoft and Sony still deny having next-gen consoles in development even though everybody knows it's going on. If there's one thing we can still rely on from Square Enix, it's that the publisher is unabashedly unafraid to remake or rerelease old content on new platforms. We'l get it, worry not.
Free demo on the official website. Check it out!
Whenever I worry that Kingdom Hearts is becoming a niche franchise, an announcement like this happens and the news story shoots to the top of N4G.
I just can't even concentrate right now. Holy swearwords. MOTHER FRAKKING KINGDOM HEARTS!
Yep, totally incapable of fully explaining why I'm so excited. I haven't been this energetic about a video game announcement for this entire generation. For serious. YEAH!
As a PC/PS3 gamers, I rarely envy Microsoft's barely-any-exclusives offerings.
This is a strong exception.
Now raise your hand if you were seriously expecting actual gameplay to look like Avatar.
*crickets*
And you have no idea how fantastic that makes me feel.
I would welcome Sora and Sephiroth with open arms, but I have my doubts as I'm guessing Sony is looking to limit the number of sword-wielding characters.
YEAH! Who are you holding out for?
I wanted this free-to-play project to work so well...I know that monetization system can work on consoles, but Dust seems like it'll only apply to established EVE Online fans.
Completely agree with you. For whatever reason, I'm still so fond of Sunshine.
