Microsoft is the laziest first party out there. Instead of building a studio up like Sony and Nintendo have done time and time again, their incompetent asses need to buy up the industry and limit competition. It’s just the American way… Microsoft is a joke and you’re in the minority of people who still find something to defend.

Lol this is one of the most delusional fanboy takes I have ever seen. “Trust me bro” is not a good defense of the company whose boots you lick.

It’s been years and years and years since Xbox has had a first party stable worth talking about. What an embarrassment.

These lawsuits are so so so so stupid. If they ever had a chance in hell of winning, that would be the end of companies having different takes on the same genre.

Sony has built their first party studios from the ground up. Ms is making itself smaller all by themselves by not nurturing their own studios

What is this writer talking about? Great games are great games regardless of their rating. There just weren’t any exceptional ones released this year. Kirby was great, but definitely not goty material

Funny… I’ve checked to see if a number of big games with gay characters have been reviewed on the site, and they haven’t. Why is that? They’re some of the biggest games around, so it’s weird that a video game site doesn’t review them.

Just embrace the hypocrisy. It’s really all you’ve got. Enjoying a violent game isn’t the problem. Violence in video games is fun. The problem here is that, just like the other Christian nationalists, you’re quite selective.

Good. Monopolies need to be stopped before they can start.

Delusional. The story was horrible, the gameplay boring, and it was a buggy mess.

Christ Centered Gamer is just another name for anti-gay gamer. In a game with gay relationships dude would be slamming it, or wouldn't even review it to maintain the facade that "christ Centered" has to anything to do with Christo-moralism. Blood and murder? cool! Gay? Christ wouldn't approve.

Imagine defending corporations putting more costs on consumers... How do those boots taste buddy?

Publishers are fucking around this generation, and they're going to find out. I used to buy almost every game that really interested me. Now, at a $70 tag, I'm only getting top tier games at their launch price.

I was not a fan of BOTW, but the people who are absolutely LOVE it… so there must be something there… I just don’t see it.

I'll bet anything that this review will be an outlier. This game is a return to the awesome burnour style of most wanted. I'm loving it.

Would potentially be cool, but a company of mostly white dudes making money off of the story of Native Americans is objectively pretty shitty. If a LARGE chunk of the profits went to the tribes, then that would be a different story.

You really have to be an annoying and bitter gamer to still be thinking about Sony's playstation plus game from a year ago. lol what a joke.

What? A 1060 game could run the Witcher 3 at 1080p ultra settings locked at 60 fps, easily. 1440p at a consistent near 60 fps.

Sony built their franchises from the ground up and takes care of them. If Microsoft is able to complete this merger, they could very well destroy call of duty just as they have done with halo and gears of war. Microsoft’s tunnel vision focus on the bottom line is their fault and no one else’s. They don’t see their games as artful experiences at all, they are products for purchase… nothing more and nothing less and that makes them adverse to risk.
