Teaching kids and playing games... those are my jams.

The problem is that if the atrocities are not in the game, then it is propaganda.

Corporations are the devil.

Nobody is saying that. Video game representation of the Vietnam war is utterly tasteless though, and leave out our war crimes and human right abuses. The United States has been the largest purveyor of genocide in the world... and it's not even close. The amount of civilians that we have killed, both directly and by installing puppet dictators in South/Central America makes the halocaust look small by comparison.

The war crimes are we...

My thoughts exactly. Failed American imperialism and war crimes should not be white washed by a videogame-ified version of a human massacre. They should be free to release their game without censorship, BUT there needs to be a disclaimer if they fail to accurately represent the events.

I know all about Fallujah and all of the terrible decisions that led to it and all of the many war crimes that took place during the fight. I'm the wrong guy to accuse of of not understanding US foreign policy and conflicts. There is the media narrative that painted us as heroes going in to save the Iraqi people, and there is the real version that the UN could put so many politicians, commanders, and soldiers on trial for.

The fact that this guy prefaces with saying "sorry" shows how toxic the gaming community can be. Y'all Git gud morons need to grow up.

I’m not saying that it’s going to be bad... in fact this game has an opportunity to address the failures of American foreign policy and our domestic treatment of soldiers once they come home. I just doubt that they’ll go far enough and it will be the Hollywood-ized version of the Iraq war. If this game pulled a spec-ops: the line, I’d be stoked.

Sonic All-Stars, 1000%. Sonic Team Racing?? Definitely not.

I don’t think they did it for any other reason than they thought it was the right thing to do. If they were worried about “complainers” they would’ve kept it instead of listening to a little bitch like you.

Cry me a river you whiny little shit heads. Oh my god! A scene without a butt shot. And y’all call us snowflakes. Haha losers.

Deservedly so. The game was incredible and probably my personal GOAT.

And I wish fanboys didn't whine about silly things.

Really?! Thanks for the spoiler title, dick.

"Dial your expectations way down" should be Microsoft's new slogan.

It's a stupid critique. The game is a commentary of how dangerous unregulated capitalism is, and that is the most modern and relevant topic that I can think of. People being all annoyed that they handle trans issues wrong are being insane and ridiculous. People want representation... then they get it (which I think is great), but then they have nothing to do but whine it.

1893d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

What the hell does that mean? Because you don't like what they have to say "keep track" of them. That sounds like a threat, and you sir are an asshole.

1893d ago 1 agree5 disagreeView comment

It's a critique of unfettered capitalism. What could be more 2020 than that?
