This is what I was afraid of. How fickle gamers can be. "Uncharted 4 has one bad review??? Peition that shit!!!" "DOOM has an average score on metacritic?" Some people want a petition, and most of the rest just end up saying "Who cares move along"
If you are going to complain about certain aspects in video games, at least be consistent with your complaints. Geez. It really shows bias in that you only end up complaining about something because...
Psychological horror games are a different breed of horror. Eerie narrative, broken characters, confusing story lines (good confusing), ambient noise. Outlast is more of a survival horror.
Silent Hill 2 has to be tops on this list. Really fucks with your head. Nope it isn't.
I still like this list none-the-less. Spec Ops the Line is a great game. They did all their voice acting in one day.
Deadily Premonitions has that Twin Peaks feel to it. Corky type of thriller game.
Surprised not to see Heavy Rain on there either.
Nice. This game looks so fun. I am a fan of the lore the game has when you go looking around. :D
I do agree if it is a spoof review (which I think it is), it should not be counted. They already have another review in which it gave the game 4/4 stars. But this is setting some bad precedence if it is a genuine score then I have to say, people hating on that review are childish and self-centered. This person truly in their heart must have disliked this game to the point of giving it a low score. It's their opinion that is posted on a noteworthy news site. Forcing other people to accept ...
this is a great example of when story transcends graphics. Great story, great characters, and the art style is friendly to upgrades. The way it's like in one of those fairy tale books you read. Loved playing, love the strategy mechanics.
Some of the stuff in the game (story wise) just doesn't make sense as part of some continuity. Which really bothered me at times.
No. I don't think so. There were some moments in the story that I didn't get. Uncharted 2 knew what it was. An action adventure game. There wasn't much tying down Nathan Drake. He was the embodiment of free movement. Uncharted 4, elements were introduced that weren't in the previous 3 stories. There were also similar elements that were in this game that were already addressed in Uncharted 3.
That's just story wise. Everything else is top notch
Oh, it's animated lol I thought it was going to be people cosplaying in overwatch gear.
Blizzard made this game? It now makes a whole lot of sense to me :D
Loved Nolan North in Deadpool , Richtofen in COD: Zombies, and Spec Ops: The Line. He's awesome in whatever he does.
Heavenly Sword :D Fear Effect needs a reboot or a sequel. Starhawk or Warhawk :D. Folklore.
I got to disagree. They tell engaging stories no doubt, but they aren't really setting the boundaries. They are great at mixing story with gameplay. They are second to none at that. But they have by no means told the best stories possible. Great stories are told all the time in video games. Naughty dog just has the ability to mix Great Stories + Graphics + Gameplay = an awesome experience.
Since when has Remedy been falling into mediocrity? They are pushing boundaries in gaming. Story for Quantum Break was all over the place but I commend them for taking chances. They have an amazing catalog of games as well, with the likes of Alan Wake and Max Payne 1 and 2. You seem salty when you don't even need to be. Naughty Dog are legit at creating fun games and engaging narratives. That does not take away from what Remedy is able to do as well.
I'm going to be enjoying ...
Don't know. A lot of great stories told in games. One of my Top all time is Silent Hill 2 (I have it ahead the likes of Uncharted 2, Last of Us, and Bioshock Infinite). I'm going to enjoy seeing what this game has in store though. With such high praise and all.
Just give me MW2 and MW3. I will be happy camper (no pun intended :p ).
Why the dislike for your comment? What happened to games that had full amount of content and when content was also unlockable. Now, we get a smaller amount of maps to start off with, we have to pay even more for DLC (which in total is more than the game itself), and they cut game modes. It's annoying. It's money grubbing,
A smart tactic none the less. I hate it, but I see that they know they are going to sell even with a watered down version.
They showed a frame that said "Nuketown off line". Looks similar to the Black Ops 3 sign off after that MP has been completed. That doesn't bold well for me. That, and it also seems to be another iteration of future warfare. I would like for them to do away with boost jumping. That was turned me away from the past few COD games. How many games now have boost jump?
I'm worried for a few reasons. I don't have the money to spend. Already have a PS4 but knowing there is going to be a better version, when I don't have the necessary funds to actually upgrade is killer. Knowing there will be an upgraded version of the game might lead me to believe that the game I bought won't be worth it.
Lets say I bite the bullet and trade in my PS4 to try and upgrade to PS4K. Will the games being sold for that console also be raised in price too fo...
This is more about the franchises main attractions. Assassins Creed vs Fallout and how the gamers react to the amount of glitches. I think it has more to do with the content. There is only a finite amount of space in areas of Assassins Creed while Fallout has huge maps for which to explore. So the glitches become more apparent and game breaking for Assassins Creed while they are found humorous in Fallout games. Fallout has a lot of content, people tend to enjoy the experience a lot and find n...
