They should sell this at 40 bucks. I don't think it is worth 60
Man, all these disagrees with people who want the game available on other consoles. Why the dislike? I thought people disliked 3rd party exclusives? (Tomb Raider, Dead Rising, Sunset Overdrive etc.) Oh, so when it only pertains to the person's preferred system (in this case the Playstation) people start disagreeing and only want the game just for their console. You fanboys are hypocritical bastards.
It would be very nice. I have a huge catalog of physical copies I'd like to play on my ps4. I don't want to purchase the game again as a "remastered" version or pay for PS Vue
Why would you take your PS4 to work to play this exact game? haha But I get the jest.
You know what. This is actually a good list. Some games are new, some games are old, some are indie, others are AAA. It has a wide variety of horror games. A refreshing list.
Side note: Silent Hill 2 transcends it's horror genre and is actually one of the best games ever made. Period. The In Water ending mixed with the story plot is such an amazing combination. (aside from the UFO ending haha).
Paranormal has to be on your list. That is a very fun hidden gem
I've been waiting for the the horror game catalog to expand for the PS4. It is my favorite genre. Outlast, Until Dawn, Bloodborne, Layers of Fear. I am not counting remasters, remakes and stuff like that.
So, when is it okay to like Timed Exclusives, and when isn't it okay?
60 bucks for a year old game? The hell with that. Even with it's added content, it should still be around 40-35 bucks.
Yeah, people will still get this "day one" if it can even be called that. Day 366 edition should be the proper format in which to call it. I will wait another year when it is on sale for like 20 bucks next summer.
Great list. All these games did blend genres like nobodies business. I would have added System Shock, but I can see why the original Deus Ex would be in there, in it's place.
Again, not about the age ambiguity. It's about censorship. Many games from Japan have to be censored before reaching their Western audience. These changes are caused by criticisms from people who do not even buy the game. What is the point of buying the game if you are not able to enjoy the full extent of what the developers created.
This was a smart move by dev's to make age ambiguous in the title. I am looking to see if more Japanese devs start doing the same with their con...
That's the problem though. It is mainly people who do not play the games that have the gripes. They draw negative attention to the developer and force them to change or drop content.
These guys, on the other hand, are doing it smart. They removed the age of the characters so as to not draw any negative criticism about age in the games. I'm hoping other developers start trying to be creative enough as to not remove their content. What can the SJW and their like do if they do n...
I will not be surprised or upset if Japan developers stopped importing their games over here. Well, at least when it comes to their niche rpgs and visual novels. They still will have their AAA gems that they can milk but their other lesser-known (still popular) games will stay in Japan. The hassle of changing the content (labor from devs and monetary loss) to not offend anyone in the West will outweigh the monetary gain they might receive for their games. I hope other developers can change wi...
It's more about censorship of the imported content that's the main issue for me. Since a small vocal minority can amplify their voice to disrupt an artistic point of view (in this case, raging against the age of the characters), it takes away from the aesthetics of the game. They tend to cry foul on gender, race, religious aspects, or political views expressed in games and ruin games when it reaches our shores. Yeah, sure, call these people who enjoy these games "pedo"s and ...
This damned game was supposed to debut along with the PS3. The graphics are not that great. The story might be there still. I'm always a fan of the minimalist story styles of Team Ico but I'm afraid dated graphics, controls, and short story will be the issues with me. If this game is just 5 hours long, clunky controls (making it tough to control the character), then it should just be a 15-20 dollar PSN game like Journey started out as. If it is that price range, I would get it day one...
I really want to see how the graphics of some games can be pushed further. An emulated Beyond: Two Souls would be fucking sweet
It would be a Dead Space game haha. Awesome stuff
The only "reviews" I use are Demos and Rentals. If I like the game, I like the game. Reviews sway a mass who aren't willing to put effort into physically playing the game themselves. Make up your own minds.
And blogs/magazine sites feel slighted because they don't get their copy early? I don't like that type of elitism. These guys though are cool about getting it with the rest of us though. So that's real cool of them.
Easy. Make great games, and make the fuck sure none of the content is cut and made into DLC. Hell, make sure there is no further DLC for said game and make sure all the content in the game is it.
If they can't do that, then this is not the job for them. They should just go home and be a family man >:D
Society made us that way. There needs to be an overall movement by both males and females into the idea of thinking harassment is not okay (be it race, gender, sexuality etc.). It's not like it is going away any time soon. All individuals can do is not participate in harassment on their own. It's a shame that it happens.
