It's the only new game I've played this year. It's the best game I've played this gen.
Most review scores seem to be in the 8-9 range. As a fellow Twisted Metal fan whose played every game in the series, I can assure you that fans of the series will love this game. It's for carcombat fans and newcomers alike, but this game was made for TM fans first and foremost. I love this game to death, I'll be playing it for years.
This article cracked me up a few times. Such a wild imagination those 360 gamers have.
Well 360 gamers don't know what they're missing. Twisted Metal is the best game on PS3.
Still waiting on those Bioshock and Uncharted movies.
I love Twisted Metal, but I think this movie would probably suck. Sony should give Jaffe the money he wants to make a low budget slasher movie starring Sweet Tooth.
9 is exactly what I thought IGN would give it. They've had lots of really positive things to say about Twisted Metal in their previews.
Personally I think this game deserves a 10 but of course, I'm a die-hard Twisted Metal fan. This is one of the best games I've ever played.
Twisted Metal is one of my all time favorite game series. With all the information I've gathered on the game, and all the promises coming from David Jaffe like, "This is the best game we've ever made", I think Twisted Metal has a pretty damn good shot at becoming my favorite game of all time. I'm dying with anticipation right now. My copy should be arriving at my doorstep very soon.
I can't wait to play Bioshock Infinite using my Move controllers. Bioshock 1 is my favorite FPS campaign of this gen, it's a very nice bonus to get that game free with the PS3 version. I don't even have a 3DTV, but this game makes me wish I had one.
With Bioshock free on disc, Move support and 3D support, how can you deny the fact that the PS3 version is superior? There's no doubt about it, the PS3 version is the best version.
Rayman Origins should've been #1 on this list.
L.A. Noire was highly overrated.
It's not. You'll see.
Love it!
@SuperLupe
You might not be interested in those games but 8 out of 10 of my favorite games of 2011 were PS3 exclusives. I barely played any multiplats last year.
Sony put out alot of sequels to some of my favorite series of this gen so PS3 exclusives interested me so much more. LBP2 might not be your cup of tea but I happen to think it's one of the greatest games of all time.
Yeah, I've had my copy pre-ordered with Amazon since last years E3. I would've canceled it and got an early copy from K-mart instead but if it doesn't come with an Axel voucher, I'll just wait until the 14th. I've been waiting for this game for 10 years, I can wait a few more days.
Does anyone know if you'll get the code to play as Axel if you buy early from K-mart?
I don't agree with everything but, overall that was a great retrospective. I was gonna play some PS3 games today but, now I just feel like playing some good old Twisted Metal.
There will be DLC for Twisted Metal if the game sells enough. At least that's what David Jaffe has lead me to believe.
The Twisted Metal demo is the best demo I've ever played. I played the demo for at least 50 hours and that's just a very small portion of the game. I'll be playing the full game for years. I feel deeply sorry for you that you can't enjoy one of the greatest games this world has ever seen.
There's no chance in hell I'll forget to play Twisted Metal for a day. That trophy looks easy to me. I know I'll be playing this game online everyday, even if I am sick.
All Sales are final – Win at least 1 ranked online game per day for 30 days straight.
Piece of cake. I'm gonna have that trophy 30 days after February 14th. I'm gonna be playing this game to death.
Twisted Gold looks like the hardest one to me. I had a hard time beating previous Twisted Metal games on their hardest difficulties without using cheats.
Fair, unbiased review unlike that garbage G4 review.
