there is no online service. they are using a variety of third party services for a few specific titles, just like PS2. Sony lied again. Note the lack of a free headset in the contents, unlike 360.
if you want a quality online service theres only Live!

don't forget sony's lack of decision about their online network is pissing off developers too. not being able to implement online features means companies lose money on downloads and micro-transactions for those (PS3) formats and in the end just results in more disappointed gamers.

i believe the importance of 50gb blur-ray is that is eliminates the inferior compression used in earlier releases, and finally puts blur-ray at the same level as HD-DVD.
shame its about 6 months too late...
this is kinda old story now, its been established that PS3 games will run the standard $40-$60...
All still too expensive in my opinion. Games become mainstream at $20.
