Though still not as good as the last gen's SH,this game is a step in the right direction since this series have being handed to western devs. They're finally beginning to understand the importance of symbolism in SH games, this game would've been +1 better if it were more subtle though.

This isn't a slow cover to cover shooter this is a fast paced melee action game, 60fps is the norm and it looks worse than dmc 4. The witcher 2? they are completely different games ones a slower paced rpg where you can't just hack and slash your way to the end, this is more of an arcade. " there are people that find the smallest things to complain about" small? they've taken everything that was dmc and threw out the window except for the name.

"It's just that some gamers love to complain and it's those gamers who are ruining games for the rest of us"

30 fps , looks worse( unreal engine) not exciting and very choppy combat, overheating guns? horrible design all around. sorry most of the "hate" are legitimate and are coming from long time dmc fans (fans who'd like to see the game evolve not the other way around). It's people like you who like to bend down and take it in the arse and...

@poprock
Not that I care about ME and the ending but do you know what Self-entitled even mean? Why should we please the publishers and developers? we aren't the ones trying to sell'em games, they are. They should be more than thankful that we are even buying their games.

Still slow, choppy and looking even worse.

I've never played one and most likely never will. I just never saw the appeal honestly.

Since when do we have to please the devs then? it's them who has to please us because and reality is without us they are nothing. The way I see it is that these media outlets are just trying to please publishers by writing these piece so they can secure future review copies.

hehe go to any otherland( or any upcoming mmo) youtube videos, it's swarming with'em. I can't wait for this , it's the closest thing to the mmo I've always dreamed of.

@ above
Well look at it this way;after dedicating 7 years of of yer life into the game, you don't want all that effort go to waste. Something I learned quite hard in my first experience of mmo, now I take'em less seriously.

Someone from another site described skyrim( and the elder scroll world in general) perfectly " A game with the size of a lake but is no deeper than a pond"

The tech in L.A Noir was great but it felt very unnatural compared to this. In L.A Noir the face and body felt like they had minds of their own due to being captured separately, this tech on the other hand captures everything as a whole and it shows, the body language matches the facial expression.

wow! it looks like it's gonna be a very fun platformer.

5201d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yes it is and has always been. Just need to make it right like Siren blooddcurse :diff characters per episodes with their own ways of dealing with the situation.

5215d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

It's the attention to the little details that brings an open world to life( reason why infamous was the better game when it came out despite having a smaller world) and not the tech. This is something that these guys are seriously lacking.

20 spells of which only 4-5 are frequently used and rest is just for showcase. I've played all kind of mmo over the years, and I can safely say that there is a better sense of involvement and satisfaction found on action-based mmo that hotkey-based is seriously lacking.

" Combat is inspired by Anton Chigurh’s intense gun battle with Llewelyn Moss (No Country for Old Men)
- Movie had little music and sometimes no dialogue for long stretches of time
- Movie uses ambient noise, like exhausted breathing and booming guns" I love this bit right here. No country for old men is in my top 5 favorite movies.

hopefully it'll be an action-mmo rather than the outdated hotkey system.
