siren is a fantastic game and one of the very few that we can truly call survival horror this gen.
Anyone else getting siren blood curse vibe here? hopefully this doesn't turn into a shooter halfway through.
its very reminiscent of killzone, I like it! I really hope it doesn't get canned. this gen is in dire need of a good mech game.

All of a sudden its like earthquake and tsunami became a big taboo even though these kind of natural event is synonymous with the country itself for as long as people remember.I'm sure most people with a sane mind can distinguish the difference between a video game and reality. It's not like canning these sort of games that these natural event will magically disappear.
The problem I find so far, is that many writers tries to hard(nowadays). Look @ Killzone for example, the first had a stellar story-telling(coupled with top notch voice-acting) and reminded us not to loosen up in many occasion while on the other hand KZ2 just too it too seriously. see the vid below for my example.

This gen has been pretty pathetic (on the media side)if you ask me, drama after drama, site attacking site,fight over couple of missing pixels and etc...I can't even begin to imagine how worse it will be when the next gen of consoles arrive.
with all the experience they got from the gow series, I hope they can create a worthy contender to gow.
