The original Gothic is still one of my favorite RPGs ever.
I won't sell like the Switch is. You won't have to worry about that.
Or they know that they can't match the talent that has gone into recent open world games like Witcher 3 and Zelda. Because their studio is largely just modders from the ES community. The bulk of them have never actually developed a game, they've just been working with the same engine since Morrowind and doing large "mods" for each release.
Hell, their animations have barely changed since Oblivion, and haven't changed at all since Skyrim (this include...
Liquid cooling is a great choice. It's cheap and very efficient. I doubt there will be quality issues with that box.
Yes, pressured by Microsoft because they gate everything behind incremental hardware upgrades.
It'll never change.
Plus you don't have to pay for a Live subscription to play online, and you aren't pressured into buying 3 xbox consoles in 3 years.
@threefoot
If it was 100 timed exclusive (launch exclusives) yeah, people would still be talking trash.
Yep, some people don't want exclusives at all. They love the xbox brand because of that.
If what Sony is doing is holding back the industry, I'm scared to think what this industry would be doing without them...
Destiny story mode = pointless. It's all about end game. If all you want is story wait a few years and get the super pack for $30 or something with all DLC
First thing you've ever said that I hit agree on.
BRB going to go throw up now.
Phil is just as much of a clown as previous people in his position. But since he has no games on their overpriced machine he needs to trash the competition some.
Indie developers fire off at the mouth a lot. Not sure at what point they think they're superior. LOL
Dude we all know Sony secretly paid Ubisoft before the MS deal was struck.
Parity with Xbox one would still hold them back. That's the problem with upgrades like pro and Scorpio. Developers will still code for the base install base.
Yep, makes sense. Microsoft won't have anything for the rest of the generation. They did it with the 360 as well. They're just going to bank everything for the beginning of the next round of consoles and hope they can get market share back.
MIcrosoft has tons money, the Xbox division doesn't have access to all of that...
So he's just stating the obvious.
Developers will create games for the PS4 and Xbox One. They will then do the minimum amount of work required to scale up their games to both mid gen updates. They'll bump resolution until 4k or sub-target framerate (whichever happens 1st). They'll add HDR if it was part of their original scope.
That's it. They aren't going to code extra work into taking advantage of each console to the metal like a...
HDR and better gaming stability from OG to S, then the additional incremental upgrades from S to X.
