True field of depth entertainment hasn't been addressed in technology yet. Consoles will always be around. Being able to purchase a console and not have to upgrade it is quite nice. The steam box is a cool idea but I feel like it's astep in the wrong direction. When hardware doesn't change developers are forced to be creative and work with what they got. Tlou, beyond two souls, gtav, these games are light years ahead of most current generation games but developers pushed themselve...
In general they should just do it right the first time. They aren't dumb but they certainly are playing dumb. They know what the fans want and they know what the haters want. So they should go the extra mile, won't cost them much to do so and finally put the haters and nay sayers to rest. It seems like they can't even do that right now. PR camp at ms needs to find new jobs.

Many are screaming to get 60 fps standard. Let's blame the drivers for this one.
Just because these initial games aren't ruining at 60 doesn't mean it won't happen this gen. Crytek is speaking about the xb1 here and a game initially designed for the 360. Let's look at sony's camp and see what/who sets the standard. Last gen it was bluray.
This game needs localization. Smash some of the most epic and OP characters together, a bunch of fan favorites and make then fight. Great idea in fact why didn't this happen sooner?
