Microsoft Live's image search is actually very good. Better than Google's.

Not a big fan of all the rebranding business NVIDIA has going on, but I guess it's justified because of the recession.

Yes to both questions.

Yes, but it probably wouldn't perform as well as cheaper cards meant for gaming.

Tesla is meant for things like GPGPU applications.

I'm not really sure why this news is on N4G now, though. Tesla is several months old.

The 8800 GT, 9800 GT, and 8800 GTS cards would run the game quite well and those cards are pretty cheap.

They should be able to be found for less than $100.

I run E:TW on my 8800 GTS 512 at High settings and the frame rate is great.

@Agent VX,
If you want the extras (campaign map, History Channel DVD, art book, extra units), then I suppose the Special Forces edition would be worth $20 more over the regular edition, but to me it's not worth it.

Well deserved score. Empire: Total War is an amazing game.

As long as computers exist, computer games will exist. Retail sales in the U.S. may be down (as a result of a shift towards digital distribution), but, worldwide, PC gaming--and gaming in general--is continuing to grow.

Man, why couldn't they have chosen a good JRPG to port to the PC?

Seems that the predictions were correct. Lost Planet sale to coincide with Lost Planet 2 announcement.

The demo is also on Steam.

It wouldn't work on the PS3. It requires that a plug-in be installed to run the 3D application within the browser.

Reviews are useful for games that don't have demos released for them. It helps form a general idea of the quality of a game.

Not bad. I like the 'chip' design in the corner.

By that logic, Duke Nukem Forever should get an 11 out of 10.

HDDVD18, that is incorrect. Hertz is used to specify the screen's refresh frequency. Frames per second is how many frames the game is rendering per second. The game could be rendering 85 frames per second but the screen could only display 60 per second because it's a 60 Hz monitor.

Seriously. This article just makes him sound ignorant. He probably just wrote it as flamebait.

Aw, it didn't release in 2008.

No, I was making fun of G4. Because they suck.

360 exclusive? Haha, wow. Really?

I don't even know how to respond to that.
