Master Chief is still at the centre of the story, I'm really enjoying this whole hunter vs hunted aspect of the game in my playthrough at the moment. This game is a masterpiece and is my personal favourite Halo since Halo 2.
Possibly, this game is really reminding me of Project Spark and guys on there made a Conker game so I imagine that a Playstation All-Stars like game and many others are possible with Dreams. Can't wait to see more of this game!
"This is what the company holding a 50% market share gets its players, and I am beyond satisfied."
Market share has nothing to do with this relationship between Playstation and Qunatic Dream so you can stop beating your chest. Their relationship came about when Microsoft refused to publish Heavy rain due to the child kidnapping plot and Sony got behind them (A VERY good move) but nevertheless, saying it's about market share is just spreading fanboy lies.
Stole the show for me, this game wasn't on my radar before but you can bet it is now!
Was surprised by this news and definitely interested to see how they implement it, Tekken 7!
I felt let down by this one but not sure if they just chose the wrong way to present it, the 'level' they were playing looked boring but definitely interested in the creative aspect, reminds me of Project Spark
UKmilitia last I checked on Meta it was at 86 so by your logic it is 'very positive' then you've seen a few 7's and neglect to see the majority gave it 8-10/10
Very good point, as someone who owns both consoles I couldn't care less which is 'winning' in sales, I enjoy and have fun on both consoles and my experience on XB1 isn't diminished whatsoever due to it not selling as well as the PS4. Only people who care about sales are Sony, Microsoft and fanboys
Would love to see Warships make its way to XB1 and glad BC is on track for November! Phil's interaction with fans is something you don't see too much with many top execs, much respect for the guy!
Halo 5 will sell 3,000,000 + on the opening week and will beat Uncharted collection. Halo 5 = Xbox NPD win in October. November will be very close and PS4 will likely take December
For me
+ Backwards compatibility
+ Streaming games to W10 devices
+ Silent even when running demanding games
+ NXOE UI is FAST
+ Kinect voice commands / Cortana
+ Apps and HDMI IN
+ 12 person party chat
+ Fast download speeds compared to my ps4
- 'slow' install times though longest I've had was around 30 minutes
Have you tried the NXOE ui yet? It's much faster (faster than ps4 ui) and more intuitive than the old XB1 dash
edit@below the article was posted here on N4G but I'm on my phone at the moment so can't dig it up but basically it compared how long certain tasks took and NXOE ui was faster than PS4 in most or all
He gives this same response about the possibily of a PC version of Halo games all the time. He's just trying not to burn any bridges just not sure what all fuss is about this time he said it
Don't think this will happen, multiple SKUs with different settings/performance is confusing to the average consumer/gamer and has many drawbacks compared to one locked system
Definitely going to have to disagree with you on this one. Fact is apart from us hardcore fans on N4G, the average consumer/gamer (most of console sales) don't want complicated, multiple SKU's and it divides the community BIG time because people on the lower SKU either won't be able to play with those on higher ones or they'll be at a big disadvantage. Most people buy consoles for simplicity so consoles won't do it next time round or during this gen.
I'd have to disagree, developers whether they're as big as DICE or not all handle the same API's, devkits etc. so know what they're talking about. And I wouldn't personally call Battlefront a 'technically ambitious' game. Also, DICE didn't say that's why, a Dice dev did and you know what? he also called the Xbox One the 'Xbone' and the PS4 the 'pony console' so excuse me if I don't trust what he says. The way I see it, DICE's engine ...
So basically the unified memory means that cpu intensive games have a negative effect on gpu bandwidth?
I think most people who aren't hardcore fans of either system know this already. I know PS4 has a power advantage that is supposedly around 50% but all I'll say is that multiplats 95% of the time look identical (not saying that they perform identical) but they look the same to the human eye so I can only conclude that both are very similar and both have their advanatges and disadvanatges
What complete and utter nonsense. Not every single game gives PS4 an advanatge, stop crying about it.
One comment on this article from a known xbox fan trolling on this article (Yes, I've read them all) and then you go on to say Halo 5 is really boring... I just wanted to point out your hyprocrisy complaining about Castillo's fanboy comment when yours is just as bad
