It’s either because you’re slightly blind, are oblivious to quality, or have an extremely poor display. Either way, the washed out look is extremely noticeable and bothersome and not what one would expect from turning on hdr.
Did anyone confirm if it fixed the HDR issue. It’s unbearable to turn it on in it’s current state.

It’s hideous IMO. It’s a huge step back from what AAA studios have been delivering. HDR isn’t even a thing let alone the resolution.
