*sigh, such a merky low quality video.
BUT OBVIOUSLY the color in the Xbone video is off. Clearly the car should be pink when it currently looks red!
well, I'd sell it at a high price on ebay and get a ps4 with all the launch titles XD
You do realize the profit margin for iOS games eclipse the profit margin of all dedicate handhelds combined right? I'd call that more than a scratch whether you want to agree with it or not. Not to mention that there's over 600 million iPhones out there already sold......
@Izzy408
As a software engineer, all because something is advertised doesn't mean it's plausible. Yes, innovation breaks new ground every day. But on a technical scale, this LITERALLY isn't feasible. The bandwidth between the graphics card and CPU is very very very very very very fast. In order to do cloud computation, you would have to predict EVERYTHING that needs to be rendered and stream it. You can't just toss data for rendering purposes back and forth. T...
This can't work. The bandwidth needed for fast calculation, this won't work. The ONLY way this can work is just streaming the damn game which ISN'T what they're advertising. That's an Onlive/Gaikai feature (not something new, not tossing some workloads to a cloud server). Microsoft is spewing bs.
... lolz
Wow, the OLED makes a big difference...
They don't hate money, they go where money is. Developing for the Wii U is not where the money is. That's just obvious and silly for anyone to argue after seeing Ubisoft's reported earnings (and anyone else's) for any of the games they've made for the system.
Sir, I believe you are deprived of quality speakers and your ears have developed fine tuned follicles that are direct to small sounds. If you pin it side by side with other portable devices, the sound simply does not carry well past other noises.
I hate saying this, but the Vita's sound output is utter crap when pinned up to the iPhone or iPad...... I can't see it ranking above anything on that list. That's one of the biggest problems I have with my Vita, YOU MUST wear headphones to hear it (especially in a vehicle).
Don't care unless 1 of 2 things happen, OSX support for the SDK and trophy support.
Really shows how much research amateurs do before writing an internet article...... and how they can know nothing about a topic and just put it out there like a discussion.
I would buy a $20 - $30 Zelda game on iOS made for iOS....
Just give us Monster Hunter....
2nd time is a charm apparently?
@TipC50
If you don't understand it, you shouldn't talk about it or agree with it. Take some time out and do some research. Spreading this stuff is how we get fanboys and Air heads who just talk the talk. It brings out the worst in people when people believe crap and it isn't valid at all.
@gameonbro
I got that he's calling developers lazy and stating that the Wii U can keep up with next gen titles. In the first wave of games, this may hold water... but it won't later on. This argument lies true for anything though, optimization = better performance better games. It also equals a lot more work, money, time. It's not worth it. Especially for a system with such a low install base. Why would you budget hundreds of hours for optimizing your game on a co...
All because you gather data on people saying what can be optimized, doesn't mean that one thing can equate to another. This guy gathered arguments from EA that provide techniques for increasing processing with a lower bus speed. This does not provide any relevance to massive graphical enhancements or anything of the sort. This kind of algorithm allow developers to improve on things such as texture load ups. What does that have to do with keeping up with current gen? Theoretically, this do...
And yet, people are disagreeing with me..... ignorance is disgusting. Disagreeing with me is like being an average joe telling construction engineer architect that the main suspension can be removed from the building and everything will be fine. Considering I'm a developer for a living, I believe I'd have quite a bit more insight with memory management and allocations, bandwidth in busses, etc than those of you who just read articles and watch people rant on Youtube without any insigh...
these people need to stop uploading this crap to youtube. Youtube can hardly take 480p videos let alone HD anymore. I'm running on over 60Mbps and Youtube can't load in a non blurry 720p video... very very depressing and not a great representation of what I should expect.
