Did I install high Rez texture pax? lol I installed user mods that made Crytek's work look like pixelated art and although it greatly improved visuals it did nothing to improve gameplay and performance.
not to mention the visuals were sub par and lacked polish on PC.
yeah I don't really like the idea of some gov getting involved with my favorite hobby.
They're using off the shelf parts so NO it does not justify a $600 pirce tag. $399 for base model, $500 for fully loaded version with all the goodies.

The majority of the user base will still be on PS3 for maybe the first two years after the PS4 is released so a PS3 version is a must if they want to make some profit but I have no doubts that they'll have a PS4 version ready to go on day one.

that could be true for small/indie devs but for large developers that have the resources & tech to take advantage of the new hardware you'll see a huge jump in visuals/gameplay. I predict that the hardware Sony will debut this year will be beefier than most are expecting and it has to be if its going to last 5+ years.
