Maybe they should git gud
There was a massive jump in complexity when you compare goldeneye to previous shooters. It deserves all the praise it gets for sure, especially when you consider how small the dev team was. I still feel like Goldeneye does a few things better than modern shooters, despite how much it has aged.
Despite having a high end gaming pc, I still find myself trying old n64 and ps1 games on their original hardware now and again. Games that I never got around to playing back in the day. 90s games have a different feel to them, and although some aspects haven't aged well, I feel that a lot of those games still hold their value over the overly cinematic experiences we get today.
Generally the quality of n64 games was pretty high on average, there just wasn't near as many games as ps1. Still, I find ps1 harder to go back to, with all the texture and geometry warping. Aside from metal gear solid and a couple of others, I usually find that there's a lot more n64 games that I prefer to go back to over ps1, mario 64 banjo star fox paper mario majora's mask etc.
I haven't heard anyone say the only way to experience tw3 is in 4k, that would be a dumb opinion regardless.
Square Enix canceling large events because of death threats isn't news worthy?
Mixed is a bit harsh, it's a solid game. Still not that big of a loss.
At least with mario 64 you get that nice music though right? Being in water did feel really restrictive compared to all the jumps and moves you can usually pull off on land.
If each "chapter" is 40+ hours of quality content that's been built from the ground up, who cares? It will probably come in two or three parts. I have no idea why people are tripping over this so hard.
Holy crap the patience
Attempts at redemption should not be despised, they should be encouraged. They made a bunch of money at launch, they could have kept it and split, but they didn't. Nms has gotten closer and closer to the original vision.
The world is not enough had a really good game made by eurocom on n64, it was overshadowed by goldeneye and perfect dark unfortunately, I think it has aged better in certain ways, and it had a better framerate. I miss the old days of solid bond games.
I feel like most of the people who complain about the n64 controller never owned one. It's really not near as bad as it looks.
It still feels fine to me, although I do have small hands.
It says local mp in the article
This is awesome
Yep
If you're 37 it only makes your comments more sad, it doesn't add validity to them.
It's not just a cable. Still might be overpriced though.
They can in terms of input lag
