3ds may of had a bad start but I think it can recover. The next model will probably have 2 analog sticks, better battery life, and fix other problems of the 3ds. Nintendo got cocky and made some dumb mistakes, but hopefully they will make up for it. Glad I haven't bought a 3ds yet though.

I agree too, the only point I see for this is if you go on a long plane ride or something. Even then, 3-5 hours is enough for me.

No. No they will not. That's why Nintendo wants the wii u to appeal to more hardcore gamers.
Graphics do matter, they're just less important than the other elements which go into making a game. Also, "abandoned" is a strong word. I didn't like the wii near as much as I did the gamecube and 64, it didn't have as many core nintendo games.
If I'm not mistaken, the collection will be 40$, and Snake Eater 3d will be 40$. So for the same amount, you could either get mgs3, or you could get mgs2, mgs3, Peace Walker, and the two original Metal Gear games. It's an obvious choice.
What makes the Vita better for gaming than these phones are the controls. Even if phones get better specs, the Vita will be better made for gaming, and will still have good specs. And short and unsatisfying games??? Have you even heard some of the games coming out for this system?
