The most polished fps on console? Fun addicting gameplay? I can't understand how some people like cod so much. The gameplay is so repetitive I get bored really quick. Not a single game for psp that you said was better than anything the Vita had has a metacritic score over 80, with twisted metal coming the closest at 79, but the Vita has Uncharted, Super Stardust, BlazBlue, Lumines, and rayman origins all have an 80 meta and above.

Tried different things? I'm pretty sure the one on psp was a port of cod 3 with no multiplayer, and the ones on ds were very limited in experience. Small multiplayer, horrible graphics, and small scale campaign. No, a console quality cod has not yet been made. But it will be made with the Vita. Also, we don't know whether the game will be a straight port or not, so it may very well try "different things."

I would also recommend mgs portable ops and peace walker, both syphon filter games, and monster hunter freedom unite along with many games on this list. Especially since these games will benefit from dual analog sticks, jrpgs won't.

Well the 2 reviews in for this game so far have been a 9.5 and a 5.
I seriously doubt the price will drop in just a few months. Some games would be cheaper though. I think I'll wait for Resistance and Gravity Rush to come out before getting mine since those are my most anticipated titles, even though there are still plenty of launch titles I want.
"Most" of its games aren't good. I've always loved Nintendo, and the wii did have some worthwile games, but the wii is my least favorite nintendo system. They focused too much on the casual market and not enough on the core fans.
They probably should of had one fps for launch, but it doesn't matter that much. I don't care all that much about fps anyway. Killzone, Resistance, and cod are on the way, are there even any fps games on 3ds announced?

I don't think anyone was, I think we were all expecting 7-8 scores. Now I'm interested to see how other sites score it.
I just don't understand all the hate resistance gets, I think they all have really great campaigns, even R2. The multiplayer in R3 wasn't that good, but single player always matters more to me. This game is high on my list of wanted Vita games.

I don't think so, and he said hypercritical, not hypocritical. He said that at the end of the review, and I think it was because he spent most of the time in the review stating what GA did wrong, so he was saying that the game is still great despite its shortcomings compared to uncharted on the ps3.
Man I'll never forget banjo kazooie, I've played through that game several times. I remember when I first had it as a kid, I got all the way up to the witch's battle, and then my friends came over to my house and beat it when I wasn't there. -_- I was ready to kick all their asses. I had to start the game all over, not that big of a deal since I loved it so much.
