well hes not very good at hyping it then... 8.5-9.0 isnt really that awesome. This seems to be legit and i will take it as legit until told otherwise.
exactly! im sick of these so called 'professionals' giving their opinion like its worth more or something. Its refreshing to hear someone who just likes games and doesnt review a game for its flaws. Professionals too often look for flaws and in so doing miss the experience altogether.
lol the last few months give no proof of what a professional review is... I havent read an objective review in a long time. This guy seems honest and to the point. I do agree that credentials are missing.

ok people... he didnt say it was a fps shooter he said it looked like a fps. He said the dialogue was boring and the facial animations were subpar. Get over it. Its one dudes opinion.
So just because he doesnt understand it its crappy? I have a solution... spend some time with it instead of complaining about it. If the hardware was fully understood there wouldnt be much to improve on would there? he is complaining about sony not asking the developers what they wanted? Isnt the reason the 360 doesnt come with a hard drive because developers said it wasnt needed?

MS is in a better position this christmas... yes. The rest of its life cycle? NO. Anyone with any kind of foresight will tell you that. Someon want to disagree with me? state why.
The lighting is simly... well... incredible. For a night mission this is the most immersive gameplay i have ever seen. I am guessing they are using this night mission because they have hardly begun to impliment the textures of the game. 5-6 months from now they will blow us away with the final product.

they werent that far in development at e3... a month makes a HUGE difference. That is why 5-6 months from now when the game comes out you wont be able to recognize this footage as the same game. The lighting, and especially the textures will be turned up and on. He said they have a lot of work to do with streaming, which I am guessing is textures. The meat is there baby!
It sounds like he reviewed the game on what it is supposed to be for the PS3, not for the game itself, at least thats the way the first part sounds...
He, however, did bring up the fact that he didnt like the distance attacks and thought they were repetitive. It really only adds up to about 30 min to an hr in the game (thats the way I read it). It may be a welcome break in the action. An
I dont mind being strategic about my attacks. It makes me feel as though I must earn the kills. Saying this, plus the narrative and graphics= a must buy for me.
i have never seen lighting like this in any game. It makes this night level beautiful. Seriously, five months to go and it looks like this? Love the blood, and the feel of this game. I have a feeling this game is gonna be the definition of epic.
i doubt that doshey but it will set the bar for second generation games, thats for sure. The system is too early in its life cycle to be figured out to that extent.
yeah no kidding... its getting more and more exciting as we find out new stuff. I cant wait to hear about teh MP aspect, I also want co-op so bad I can taste it, but for some reason I have doubts whether they will impliment it or not.
@Coffin87... in the preview done by IGN they said there were mulitple paths you can go by in order to reach your objective, so it may not be as linear as many think... however, it is still kinda linear.
the graphics have improved since e3. That was a month ago, imagine 5 months from now when this game gets shipped. The textures need some work and so does the fire, but the base graphics are there and looking really really good. Now they just need to add the 'flare' to it. They have plenty of time... im getting excited now.
