well, I am no fanboy but if the ps3 outsold the 360 2 to 1 for a year it would tie them up... the wii is a different story.
ok... i think we need to remember that the ps3 would be matching sales in the 360's largest market. Not to mention Japan or Europe. Its not far off to think that next year the ps3 could sell that much.
You are right! I completely forgot about smash brawl! I am definitely gonna pick that up... but that still doesnt change my opinion that the PS3 will not only take '08 but get close to catching or even catch the competition in '08 (most likely '09 for the wii).
There has always been demand for the ps3. However, the price point and lack of quality titles held many back. This seems to have been solved at the 399 price point.
I dont see much in the way of competition for 2008 either. Neither the 360 nor the Wii have anything in their lineup to match MGS, GT5 and possibly FF. Not to mention (only because they have yet to prove themselves as a successful franchise) 8days, getaway, killzone 2 and LBP.

Uncharted is one of the best SP experiences I have ever played. I am on my second time through and loving it even more than the first. I have 5 rewards left and am having a good time finding them. Uncharted deserves only 9's and above. ANYONE who gave this an 8 is rediculous. I seriously chalk it up to bad taste. If it was a FPS both you and I know that the scores would be higher, which btw would make the game a lot worse... If you dont own this title and you have a ps3 you have to get...

Its not possible. I thought it was a first party studio?, sony owns the rights to this game. It isnt even remotely possible, there is no chance it will ever come to the 360. MGS4 has 100% better chance of making it to the 360 than Uncharted does. Do you catch my drift? In order for this to come to the 360, Sony would have to release Naughty Dog, and give them the rights to this game... its NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. EVER. There... can this rumor end?

Great game. It is stunning, fun, and a great time. I am only on chapter 7 (I am playing it on hard, I am 42% done at 3hrs and 20min I hope the last half goes a little slower). but its definitely a great experience.
You may be right about not catching the Wii next year, but I see no reason why, with all the proven franchises coming out and even some hyped unproven franchises that the PS3 cant double the 360 sales globally. If the ps3 can at least tie the 360 sales in NA then I see no reason it cant go 2 to 1 globally.
I mean I wonder how many consoles will be sold specifically for MGS, FF, and GT, let alone KZ2 and LBP. I just dont see why it cant double sales of the 360.
