yeah there will be a ps4 in 5 yrs or so just so they can compete, but they will support the ps3 for 10 years like they did with their other consoles.

I never went to gamespot for anything anyway. So this doesnt effect me, however, I wonder with all the suspicious reviews as of late if this problem isnt more rampant.

well I agree gs has sucked for some time. It makes me wonder if other sites are getting paid off.
If this turns out to be true and GS fires their reviewers for not favoring/bashing certain games, expect others to come forward with similar claims from different websites. I am sure this isnt an isolated event and many people on these forums have been screaming conspiracy since the PS3 came out. I havent said too much about it because I really didnt think gaming websites that depend on reviews and previews would be so stupid as to favor games because advertisers say so.

creeping judas... i dont see 360 games getting lower scores than they deserve. I have seen some reviews come out on gaming sites that bring their credibility into question both for the 360 and the PS3.
Its about time stories like this broke out. Soon enough all will see that reviewers DO get stuff for free if they give certain scores. These gaming sites should know better. A major part of their business is reviews and if they cannot be trusted they are going to lose major business.

We seriously need to consider the bigger picture. If the PS3 is selling about the same as the 360 without any major franchises out to speak of we seriously need to consider next year at least a 2:1 sony advantage over MS. I am sorry but if Sony draws with the 360 globally this christmas season its a serious loss for MS. MS tauted this season as THE SEASON to get the 360. If they end up on par with Sony's numbers its a serious defeat.

the last SP game I have played this much was God Of War 2. That should tell you something. 8/10 is a bad score for this game, I have a hard time understanding why it is getting lower scores (i know 8 isnt low but its low for this game).

It shows that the demand for consoles is high and everyone has a budget. Also you simply cannot compare the attach rate of a console that has been out longer to one that was released a year later. right... 2 weeks isnt enough. I am pretty sure however that the PS3 next year with their list of games will dominate the 360 in such a mannor that it will catch the xbox in worldwide sales and overtake them in '09. But hey its all pulling straws, I just see this as a very likely possibility next year.
its pretty hard to compare the two. However, COD4 has the best in-game lighting to date. Its one of the most graphically impressive games I have ever played. If KZ2 gets compared to that this early in its development I think its more of a compliment.
