My mistake, Halo needed the download, Uncharted NDC was all compressed. Owned the NDC but haven’t installed it till now to make sure. Granted, they did remove content from the original games, so they should be smaller than the originals anyway, but you’re right that they got it on one disc.
Crash Bandicoot is a vastly different kind of game when it comes to assets. That was less than 50GB, unlike Spyro.
Dual Layered is 50GB
I believe that digital charge you speak of is only for updates after the initial release, not for installs, and if compression on the files to install was the answer, why wouldn’t MOST developers do it? Most games that release these days have a day one patch or initial install. Even the ones that compress often do day one downloads as well.
Which goes to his point about probably not wanting to spend the extra money for what already is a budget ($39.99) title.
Halo: TMCC is not all on one single disc, that is 80GB and requires a download for all the games to be fully functional. Nathan Drake Collection also uses a download, and these file sizes ARE reflected on the back of the box. Same thing, just not explained as clearly as Spyro was.
Well it's actually a preview of The Forge (not a review), and is more or less about the upcoming DLC as a whole, not just this one pack.
Older fans, no. Younger fans that play trends, definitely. It didn’t make the prediction list but Fortnite on switch is practically guaranteed. Maybe not at E3, but it’s definitelt in planning stages.
It’s pretty likely, I mean Minecraft went over well and if Fortnite is on phones, nothing holding that one back.
To be fair, Microsoft holds the smallest stable of franchises between the big three, and this list is mostly focused on games Microsoft publishes. Believe me, if Microsoft does something to wow us, it would be amazing. But keep in mind other stuff like Anthem and Shadow of the Tomb Raider isn’t really theirs to show.
The Xbrick. It needs to happen lol
I think Remedy is working on a different game right now, plus Quantum Break was such an expensive project for them due to the live action show portion. But yea, Microsoft is typically pretty predictable.
Ugh, completely forgot to change the image.
God of War wasn't playable, and Resident Evil 7 was playable for everyone with a PS+ subscription, not to mention that it was not representative of anything from the final game. Horizon looks good, but it's a new IP which doesn't capture the sense of love that the Zelda franchise already has from fans.
Read the review and you'll see that there were still issues that held it back from getting a perfect score. Minor, but enough to make the difference.
They just need to make sure that EA doesn't go lackluster. The Wii U would've done much better had their launch titles not been terrible ports with stripped features and reskins (no dlc for mass effect 3, no new engine for Madden like other platforms and reskinning fifa). EA blamed Nintendo for not selling enough consoles for their games to sell but they shouldn't have intentionally given it bad ports. If NX has EA support again, they need to put better pride in their product and ...
They could put them on the NX, but Nintendo did say they want to make sure fans can feel satisfied with the current Wii U library too, so it doesn't hurt to put more games on that and focus on new games on the NX.
The "demo" is actually a standalone game that while short, is content not found in the main game. There are plenty of free games that get reviews and if Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes or P.T. can get reviews, so can this.
I don't think it's because reviewers are basing it off of the gameplay, that's actually the pro to the game (It's fun). It's the extreme lack of content. If we were comparing it to Mario Tennis 64, it would still lack content, just with a shiny new coat of paint and online play. It's a lack of charm that previous entries had too, like how there is no opening cutscene or character endings for completing Knockout challenge. It was those things that gave the game a lot mo...
That would be more likely added as an Extra Battle costume.
