The art style helps it stand out, but yea, it’s not a technical marvel by any means. The Switch version probably won’t look much different in comparison. And you’re definitely not the only one, as the review actually says the same thing lol.
Less Pokemon is less content? Last I checked, this had more game content than any of the recent games. Also, The Pokemon Company isn’t the only one to do the two version thing. There are several other companies that have done this (Level-5, Bandai Namco, Capcom, Activision, etc.)
@Lon3wolf Then why bring up wireless headsets on a post about a wired headset if you’re going to say that? Just feels unrelated.
A40 is a wired headset, which still works on Xbox One on its own. It’s the MixAmp that is different.
Nobody is saying it’s not an issue, it’s that it’s not an exclusive issue, which you seem to agree with.
This is inaccurate, it's a price drop. Best Buy has it regularly priced at $19.99 now.
Yes I have
It comes with the physical edition automatically and it can be purchased for $10 digitally. This one adds a character and text adventure, the next one adds a character and a new stage/boss.
Yea, I agree. Some people are being a little harsh and jumping the gun.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker launched at $40 on both Wii U and Switch. And even though it was just revealed, we have a retail listed price, and while there was not enough information to say if the Switch game will be worth $60, the question is if Link’s Awakening in general is worth that price. There may be extra content, sure, but based on what we know of the original, if nothing has changed aside from the visuals, a lot of people probably won’t think it’s justified.
In the US, RE2 sells as a full price game, and surely Europe still has the deluxe and collectors editions that are priced higher than the regular price?
This article is written based on a retail listed price.
There are retail listings for the game at $59.99. Yes, it can change, but so far this is all we have to go on.
That’s true, but the subject matter is for Western markets, so the 13th seemed more appropriate, but to each their own.
The Direct was on the 13th...
Well even if it is a placeholder (Best Buy usually doesn’t do placeholder pricing), the question still stands if the game is worth $60.
I like the amiibo theory, as it's similar to when Twilight Princess released on the Wii U with the Wolf Link amiibo. Other than that though, I'm stumped as to what could justify this price.
My first game was special. It was Christmas and I was 4. My Dad surprised me by bringing me a Nintendo Entertainment System bundled with Super Mario Bros. 3. I was too young and too sheltered to have even seen a video game at this time, so I didn’t know what to expect, but from the music, the gameplay, and the imaginative premise, I was able to see that not only did I want to play more games, I wanted to eventually make them too. Not quite there yet, but hopefully someday, I can make games th...
Dan is in the game by name only, as he is basically a fourth wall breaking commentary for the items in the store. They also now have his sister Yuriko as the shop-keep.
If they survived long enough to have him come out, they earned it. It’s basically 3 on 2 for 4+ minutes. Most Saitama matches are over before he even comes out. If he comes out sooner, it means the person with Saitama on their team didn’t need Saitama anyway (cause they’re winning).
