Sony had an expectation to continue a line of revenue from mid Gen refreshes whether it was good for gamers or not. . They know they have weak minded fans who will double dip and despite not being able to deliver games that require the added purchase many will not care....

We don't need any remakes actually. Gaming is suffering from a lack of new ideas.... The last thing I want is a bunch of remakes.... Gaming becoming a cover band instead of making new stuff is just so uninspiring.

Gameplay will always be the reason we pick up a controller. Go watch a movie of you want to look at pretty trees. When I game I want to be engaged... Don't care about graphics and other elements. Gameplay is king. Period.
