Ps5 is no different. My launch ps4 is still more relevant than the PS5... Sony and MS shouldn't have gone in on this generation if they couldn't back it up. Based on development costs and lack of unique gameplay experiences it's very easy to see that the console space is in shambles.

Doubt it dies before the console itself dies. Old generations are keeping the console relevant. New gen kids know pc is the alpha platform. Microsoft will likely always have an offering for home console gaming despite the days of being "console king" being long gone.

Feels like there is no easier group of gamers to milk than Playstation folk. Somewhere out there is a kid with psvr1, 2, portal and these nothing burger controllers and no games to play.... Probably the same people thirsting for Xbox games like sea of thieves. Sony is brutally failing this gen.
