It had a lot to do with Ninja theory veering too far off and Ninja theory being jerks about it. Also DmC was made by a UK company not U.S.

I wish Nintendo did sell for cheaper. Maybe it has a lot to do with them not making as much money off of third party titles; I don't know. I wish they could drop their old games to at least $40. I still want to play Splatoon 2 and DKTF, but I refuse to pay $60.
