This is exactly it. People want to be able to walk around the police station and do everything at their own pace. Mr. X comes and adds extra excitement. If it weren't for him, it would just be a fetch quest until you left the station.

RE 5 and 6 were good action games, but horrible RE games. They were fun for what they were, but veered too far away from what RE great. But that was at the boom of MP games and FPs. Dead Space suffered the same fate eventually.
Too bad many people have the opposite opinion of yours. Since people didn't buy Survive, there will likely be no more MG games.

People use the word annoying because they can't deal with the tension and anxiety he causes. He's so easily avoidable it's not even funny. People have been b****hing about Mr. X since the game came out and it's getting annoying. If Mr. X was just an annoyance, people wouldn't complain as much. They mask their fear of him by saying "he's annoying not scary"
Are people really that scared of Mr. X? He isn't even that bad in this game and he doesn't cause much damage. He come right when you get to comfortable. I love the Mr.x section, but people are being babies because they're scared of him, so they remove him to have an easier game.
