Maybe people like Power of Green ruined it with his awful descriptions of it...
Or it was because it was exclusive to XBLA.
Either way I'll buy it if it is cheap. The only reason I bought Mortal Kombat II was because it was five dollars.
It did lose it's edge. Maybe having a feature where Laura can have nip slips during battles will make it interesting again.
VGChartz is full of BS whether PS3 wins by 1 million sold in a week or the 360 sells 1 million in a week.
The reason why is because some people get the impression that new user = liar when it comes to news. Sometimes it is true (like in Guitar Hero or Rock Band's "leaked" setlist), mostly it's just another input from some person. Because he has no verification people just write him off.
But here is my question, what is Microsoft doing to prevent the RROD this time? Are they moving around the chips and stuff? Or is it just new chips or something. I haven't really read...
@Utalkin2me
Oh I do have reasons why. Mainly I was answering the second question. He has like 6 bubbles worth of asking the same annoying question. "OMG what makes it so special!?!!!??"
Socom is special to me because it was the first tatical shooting game I have played. I loved going through the missions telling my guys what to do and stuff. It's kinda like the Mario thing for some people. They remember playing it when it first came out so it is s...
The combos did remind me of DMC. I wouldn't call it a clone, but it was very similar. Especially with the guns to sword/hammer combos.
No one's commenting to you because you are annoying the hell out of everyone.
What is wrong with you people? Power of green saying a game is dumb because an update was delayed, and the others making fun of him for liking the 360 too much?
Does anyone know if it was just that the update was delayed or it was made after the PS3 version? Or are you just going to argue about how one came before the other.
What I don't get is why anyone would give a RROD fix less than a 5.
I agreed with you to make it even.
The writer clearly doesn't understand Home because it is not required. It is just an extra program you can use to do all the previous stuff with the added people online.
@Sitdown
I'm afraid you missed his point.
I've been waiting for a while to unleash this force that's inside me. The doctors told me it's a medical problem, I just think it was one of those days.
Err... english please?
And what's with the disagrees? You really think this dashboard update is necessary?
@3.2
"Gears is a VERY strong and Unique shooter. It has a style like no other..."
Please tell me what a strong and unique shooter means. I bought this game and it was not as great as everyone says. It's just a generic shooter. What style does it have? Please I want to know. Tell me what makes this game special. I can chainsaw people right? That's the big surprise.
This dashboard update is so pointless. The blades were fine, the only thing I'm looking forward to is installing on my hard drive. Sadly I'm running out of space because of Rock Band DLC.
@kosha
Doing a sneak king impression will be a lot more effective.
@Gam71
Why do you keep calling it £ony?
E =/= S
PS: Look at the title of this article. Read the article. This is not news. This is a fanboy rant full of garble. This should not have been approved.
If Halo 3 had come out for PS3, I wouldn't have bought it. Halo 1 on the other hand, I would have bought. Having online doesn't make a game. The game being fun, fresh, and well made, makes a good game. Saying that a lot of people bought something isn't a real sign of it being good. It could still be crap.
The game is fun. It won't live up to the hype (or at least the hype on this site), but it looks like a solid buy. Maybe a rental like with what I did for Champions of Norrath.
