Valve never really liked the 360. They only ported their games over because it was easy. My guess is they were sick of Microsoft interfering with their ability to update their games (Remember the TF2 debacle?), and wanted more freedom. i guess Sony and PSN give them that.
Sony and Nintendo both won. Seriously, both conferences were just too awesome to pick one winner.
It could be like Steam for Mac, where Valve is slowly releasing their games for it, one by one. Of course nobody expects PS3 Steam to get all of Valve's games at once.

The sad part is that someone, somewhere is going to defend this game just because it has Sonic in it. It's depressing, really.
Wait, don't you see? This has all happened before. The highly priced add-on that's supposed to be a new console, all signs pointing to it being a failure, the surprise sudden launch of a console (or in this case console redesign) at E3. This has all happened before.
