That was actually really interesting.
Give it a few months.
It's not that bad. The framerate problems happen for a split-second at a time at the most, and it actually has better Anti-aliasing than the 360 version (no jaggies).
What REALLY kills the PS3 version is that Team Fortress 2 is completely unplayaable on it, and I mean COMPLETELY. If you thought the 360 version of TF2 was bad...
The Wii's innovative. It's at least more innovative than Call of Halo: Gears of Warfare 2. The problem is that whenever a good game comes out on Wii that isn't Mario/Zelda/Metroid/whatever, nobody buys it. Then they whine about there not being any good innovative games on Wii.
They were obsessed with having the absolute best technology at the time, and that's what killed them.
Fallout 3 there at all!?!
Here you go, N4G.
...I probably should've bet on Duke, huh?
"Let's ban terrible games!"
FUND IT.
I don't think so, Microsoft.
Don't you just love how these publishers always blame their horrible games not selling on piracy?
The 3DO was quite the crime against humanity itself.
What about the poor guy that's actually going to BUY it?
...So this is their answer to PSN+, eh? Unbelievable.
XBL = loud whiny foul-mouthed 12-year olds
PSN = loud angry foul-mouthed adults
And that's why I never plug my headset in.
The review sucks. They barely even said anything about the game itself. Just non-stop complaining that "ONOEZ SAMUS HAZ EMOTIONS NAO!!1". I really doubt that it's as bad as this review makes it out to be.
"the best thing about FFVII were the AWESOME graphics"
FFVII's in-game graphics were absolutely horrible. Even in 1997 when the game was released, the graphics barely qualified as mediocre.
While we're at it, why don't we punish people for buying used books and DVDs too?
It's like SilentNegotiator said, it's just poorly-disguised DRM. The publishers make more than enough money as it is (it's not the developers doing this, and the developers won't get that extra money). This is just pure greed on their part.
I always hated those license tests. They took too long (especially in GT4), and you couldn't get anywhere without them. I kind of hope GT5 makes them a little shorter, or at least make them less important.
"We’re going to support the hell out of Black Ops"
$20 launch DLC confirmed.
