Man, I hate peripherals. So much.
I second that
I'm not particularly partial to the band, so I wasn't planning on giving this a go. Based on the negative press, it seems like the right move. However, I like to give everything a chance, so perhaps after the holidays I'll pick it up :)
I guess they just don't want the game drawing attention to their desperate state.
This just made me feel really, really old.
It seems every Bioware game is destined for controversy, nowadays.
Got one of those, thanks :)
Thanks very much, I'm glad I wrote it :)
Sadly, I don't have the patience to "Do it all over" again. I miss those days :( I would start crying again, but admitting that I cried in the article is enough fessing up for me to last a long while :D
There's no doubt that the incredible voice acting in Uncharted and Uncharted 2 made those characters matter to us. Best voice acting in a video game, period.
Thanks for the kind words!
Don't be silly, FML wasn't a fad yet ;)
Thanks for submitting this for me man, I didn't think anyone would actually care enough to.
Sure, I'll catch some flack for crying from playing a video game, but I'll live. Glad I finally wrote it out.
It hadn't been confirmed up to this point, and speculation was abound that they had decided to make it an entirely single player experience, for artistic reasons. This indicates otherwise.
But congrats on your mastery of sarcasm, it seems to be serving you well!
I think people are just surprised that they haven't talked about it at all yet, and the amount of time and "reworking" that has gone on over the many years of development might have led some people to worry.
Nice catch!
I'm decently sure that the only games I ever played on the Genesis were Sonic games.
Spec Ops really is brilliant. A great little addition that I expect will be talked about more and more as time goes on.
Not only was the single player short, but it felt more like an episode of 24 to me. Too many plot twists, not enough perspective on how the war was crucial to the world.
As for the multiplayer, it just seemed like they crammed too much in, just for the sake of having new stuff. Small tweaks here and there would have been fine! Maybe with time, I'll adjust, but as it stands, I'm going to stick to Spec Ops (Which is the true highlight here).
Tis quite a good game! Just not the masterpiece it was supposed to be.
It has the potential to be a fantastic technology. Let's just hope that its "Shovelware only" phase shorts out quickly eh?
