I could have typed that myself! If the game is not fun, I will not force myself to complete it. Also, I need a story in a game. It might not be that great but there should be a reason for doing what I do

Right? LA Noire was such an awesome game and I agree you couldn't explore the city but this isn't meant to be a sandbox game! It was a Team Bondi game and NOT a Rockstar game(even though R* did help in completing the game).
Previews of games are conducted in a very controlled environment. A very specific portion of the game is shown, false promises are (probably) made. The journalists are treated like stars. Most of the previews of games I read are positive.
I know for a fact that on Gamespot, the editors that preview games don't review them, so that there is no element of bias in the review.

Respawn have been teasing us a lot lately. I don't like being teased. I'm boycotting their game;)
The first one sold 1 or 2 mil copies on the PC and 360 only. It's a medium budget game, so the sales were pretty good for them. I'm surprised that they are starting to hire for the third game already.
