I'm glad I bought my Vita when I did! Dat $200 price point. :D But now that it's starting to gain in popularity again they've jacked the price back up to $250-300.
Bad gamefiles! No! *Rubs face in his poo-poo comment*
how many freakin' times are we going to see this footage?
it wouldn't lockup the hardware to the point that you needed to reboot the machine, lets make that clear but there would be a temporary delay of a few seconds while trying to load XMB info while being in-game, yes.
I found that freeing up space on the hard-drive helps with this problem, try deleting old data files of games that you no longer play.
Another person in the know steps forth and confirms the dreaded news.
"Always-on connectivity is indeed part of the next Xbox, and it was interesting to see this guy confirm that unofficially."
So you guys don't even trust the people that actually worked on the hardware?

It's an important issue that needs to be discussed now, not later and since MS has decide to be the first one to step forward on this issue, well then it gets what it rightfully deserves. But this has the potential to affect all platforms and all gamers not just MS/Xbox, we need to keep this issue in the spotlight and we need to keep yelling and screaming as loud as we can so they can understand our feelings clearly on this issue that we didn't ask for and don't want intrusive &am...

So it's all Gabe's fault? lol That so freakin' pathetic.
The blame lies squarely with the publishers and the shareholders, they're the ones pushing for stricter DRM schemes, if you want to blame the ones truly responsible for all this then focus your attention on them....and MS for being cowards and for not standing up to these as*holes.
For those who may have missed it, another confirmation of MS going the always on route.

@darthv72
they're not mandating that sh*t like MS is trying to do so they are the good guys in my eyes. and to those few publishers that dare push that sh*t on our platform we'll simply avoid their games and that'll be the end of DRM on the Sony platform.
Always online requirement is a automatic no buy from me. I have no problem with one time MP passes or something similar but they do not have the right to keep a constant watch on my activities.
And those small difference between the PS4 and 720 are what exactly? Well for one is dat always online requirement and the other is the fact that you'll never really own these games because once MS shuts down their DRM servers you won't be able to access those games again, even though you paid for them.
Just some minor non important differences that you shouldn't pay much attention too.
but if for whatever reason I choose to disconnect from PSN or Live I'll still be able to play SP campaigns, right?
and this is the problem with multiplats.

Not sure if serious or just in total denial. lol
"id take any of this with a grain of salt... you guys blow things way out of proportion lol"
Hate to say I told you so. And he's being a real douche about it too. WOW. What. A. Jerk.

(lmao at the disagrees I already have. You people aren't seriously defending this guy, are you? You can't be that complacent).
Because in the article that I submitted it clearly states that it's for the purposes of DRM. Did you even read the latest info? Without an internet connection your Xbox won't launch any games or apps at all, you won't even be able to play single-player portion of the game. Wow can you believe it? I can't.
