No I understand the point, I think you just read too far into my comment. At no point did I ever say that I wouldn't choose the one with better visuals considering all other things equal. My comment is on the overall importance that the community places on resolution, nothing more, nothing less.
It actually surprises me to see how important people find 1080p. I personally could care less. Games look so good these days that the difference between 720p and 1080p is negligible to me--even 720p games look great.
I'll go for gameplay, narrative, and other details way before I gripe about resolution or frame rate.
I think I would prefer one larger trailer that reveals a lot in a big chunk as opposed to little development blogs over the course of a few weeks.
It doesn't matter.
I'm not a black nerd, but I find it incredibly silly for anybody who isn't to judge that this article is stupid or racist. Until anyone here has walked a day in the life of a "black nerd," I don't think any of these judging comments are validated. I don't want to sound like a broken record, but, like others have mentioned, the author clearly states that these are all things that have been said to him. Whether people agree with it or not is their own prerogative, but ...
I'm assuming if an article pops up about the lack of female diversity in games, you and your boobs avatar would similarly claim female entitlement.
There's an unequal representation of black figures in games. I don't think anyone is arguing that it needs to be equal across racial profiles, but the writer of this article is very correct when he states that just about all black characters in games fall into one of those categories. Yes the overtone is that there sho...
Yeah the hype on this game is incredible. I haven't seen this much hype since like...when FFXIII was announced multiplatform so many years ago. I'm a fan, but we can see where that went.
I'd prefer to not get my hopes too high for Titanfall. I'm assuming it will be good, but I won't be going crazy for it. I can be pleasantly surprised if I go in assuming it's "good." But once I'm set that it's "amazing," the only way from th...
While a slow start may not necessarily be a /bad/ thing in and of itself, it really makes a game hard to get into. Your comment on the comedy of not going through 20 hours of FFXIII seems to support that--why should I have to play through so many hours of crap before something gets good?
Mass Effect did have a bit of a slow start. Yes, you were in the action fairly quickly, but action and gameplay are not the only things that matter. The narrative of the game didn't feel ...
Right. I can name plenty of games that have totally altered my outlook on life. Still, you'd be surprised how bigoted some people can be on the basis of medium alone.
I like what this looks like so far. Obviously only time will tell, but it does look cool (whether it'll be functional and fun is yet to be seen).
It feels like they're taking a few notes out of Adventure 2: Battle for this.
That face
I have gotten a high score of 39 and even accomplishing that felt like I sold my soul to the devil.
The fact that a game like this ever existed is disgusting. I don't know what the developers had in mind with this, but good riddance.
To be fair, Telltale did come out the other day and state that the delay for TWAU episode 2 was due to unforeseen, special circumstances. We don't know what those are, but they promised that wouldn't happen again.
Unless you were just looking for fuel to comment on negatively, I really don't understand why you didn't just exit out of the video if it was ruining your day so much.
All these disagrees confuse me. Is she not a positive beacon of gaming or do people just not enjoy positivity?
Age is hardly that reliable an indicator of knowledge and ability. Information is ridiculously simple to come upon and his writing skills are fantastic for someone who's supposedly too young to know about something.
Unfortunately, the only other higher court that could hear this case is the United States Supreme Court, and the cases they select to hear are extremely limited (unless there are other, more niche, specialized courts with the requisite jurisdiction that could hear this sort of case, but I don't believe that likely).I'm not saying it's impossible that the USSC won't hear it, but it's gotta prove itself in the eyes of the public and business to be an important case worth hea...
This game is so simple and epic. I feel like I can really connect with my old cats now, bless their destructive souls.
I have no idea what in that short announcement gave the impression that there is a new game in the making to be released within the next month.
