It's you.
COD suits me just fine. If you prefer Battlefield, fill your boots.
"I get people may not like the product, to each their own but this argument of "they are not listening to the consumer and just reacting to pre-order numbers" is stupid."
They originally told people to buy a 360 if they weren't happy.
Who was it that said: "I'll get on my knees and pray...we don't get fooled again." ;o)
Does anybody remember Driven to Destruction?
Agreed, but driving games aren't really my bag. I think Killzone games have had great AI, especially KZ2. But I do hope they tweak the shooting mechanic, I've always felt that let's it down slightly.
@No_Limit
No comment, but even if you were right, why feed?
Great news indeed.
The unification of system resources will be the new norm. We have seen from the digital foundry report that the PS4's extra horsepower in terms of raw performance, doesn't necessarily translate equally in terms of graphical grunt. I think that proves the consoles won't be as far behind gaming PC's as their community likes to trumpet.
I'm still not sure what games to add to my PS4 pre order though, so I'll wait until ...
Instead of ignoring it, congratulations on being the second...
"I agree. I think the ps4 will win but not necessarily "crush" the the xbox one. When next gen starts I believe the ps4 will take a lead....."
I agree.
"...but in the long run most gamers will get another console...."
Really? I'd have thought the average gamer bought the console they prefer or the one their friends are on?
I don't think two consoles has ever been "the norm".
"PC Warriors are gonna come here to let us know that PC is superior."
You meant "Worriers" surely? ;o)
I'm buying into the next gen for PS4 games. Waiting to stream PS3 games really isn't a deal breaker.
I've got the Pulse and it wasn't cheap, so I hope so.
"The Last of Us is a terrific achievement that transcends not only the apocalyptic gaming tropes, but also the genre as a whole, offering more humanity here than many films and books which attempt to tackle the same subject. It’s a master class in storytelling, it’s a master class in visuals, and it’s a master class in what it means to be a human being. Buy this game, and you’ll love it."
Spot on.
I have to say, thinking back the Dualshock 3 has been an incredibly reliable controller for me. Other than breaking one in an online hissy fit, I have never had problems with my three and the batteries have always seemed to last for more than long enough.
Hopefully the Dual Shock 4 will be just as reliable.
It could also be sooner. This is basically a year from the end of the month, a date you might use as a placeholder if you knew it was provisionally planned for Q1 2014?
Hopefully anyway. :)
The link isn't Knack.
"...suggesting some sort of networking is involved (usually streaming when dealing with a “host” system). This could just be referring to something else entirely though."
No shit Sherlock.
Put on the flak jackets? There's always sycophancy, but that is something else.
Steam games are half the price.....that's sort of the point.
Bubble for you.
The UK price actually works out at £290-80p excluding value added tax at 20%. So that's around $450 + tax.
The differences in margin then come down to local overhead differentials such as logistics, insurance, salary etc. as well as overall volume.
At £349 I'm an extremely happy chappy.
Meh.
It does sound like a good addition to game modes.
I prefer the custom AI based matches. You don't get as stressed out as you can with the generally laggy MP. I have to say the Black Ops bot AI isn't great at times though. It will be nice if Infinity Ward can improve on that in squad modes.
