While i dont have any doubt rising will be a good game, Metal gear solid 4 was the final ending to the saga we have been following over the last 10 years. Microsoft can brag all they want about acquiring mgs but the fact remains they showed up after the party when the janitor is sweeping confetti off the floor. No way is it biased to say that. If you have eyes in your head that work you can see it looks way beyond anything we have seen before, the controls are tight, excellent story, amazing voice work and musical score. Very few games actually deserve a 10 but in my book this HAS to be one of them.
Uncharted 2 winning yet another award, i think we should all get used to this for the rest of the year. Funny how now the ridiculous hype behind natal has died down, sonys games are the talking point again.

I think the main thing this shows is yet again hhg "predictions" and "breaking news" are based totally on assumption and guesswork. No point bragging about predicting twitter on 360 when 10 other predictions get shot down at the same time.

Well maybe this is telling us the type of game it is. If its going to look noticeably better than mgs4 yet run on a 360 then all signs point towards a linear hack and slash game.
The more stripped down a game is the more you can do in terms of polish because the console has fewer tasks to perform at the same time. This is why sandbox games like infamous or gta are no where near the graphical standard of a more linear driven game like killzone 2 or gear of war 2.
If you dont have standards of quality then sure the 360 "wins" in your eyes. The fact is garbage like ninja blade is not even comaparable to games like infamous or killzone in terms of quality. Ms can churn out as many games as they want but it still wont hold a candle to sonys exclusive line up. I have to LMAO when fanboys resort to using 1vs100 in the same sentence as uncharted 2.

In all honesty i dont care what a games "journalist" has to say about what essentially is a driving simulator and not a game. If its a driving simulator you have to grade it on how well it recreates the feeling of driving the different car types in real life.
Now i dont want to sound like a d1ck but i dont think someone like for example...jeff gerstman can even fit in to most the cars in gt or forza let alone be qualified enough to judge how well it simulates compared ...
