Sony wont have to outsell the 360 by anything you know why? because their strategy does not revolve around obsessing over MS. Unlike MS, Sonys price cut is for the consumers benefit, not to chase the 360. You seem to think that SONY is loosing when both install bases are good enough to both co-exist without bothering with eachother. Well im guessing it wont be reflected until septembers npd as people will hold out for the slim launch first.For sure there will be a slight increase this month but next month could be monsterous.
The main point is everyone who really wanted a 360 has one, this is not the case with the PS3 as there is still a lot of people who want one and have been holding out for the price cut. Also factor customers who bought a 360 not because they thought it was better but because it was the cheaper alternative, these type of consumers will now buy PS3s instead.
