At the end of the day though, I want proof that the 360 can do Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 levels of graphics, not the possibility of it.

Sure, it would be possible. You'd just have to compress and downgrade areas in order to get it to work.
Levels in KZ2 are about 2 gigs a pop. So you'd have to split it onto multidiscs on 360.

Okay, I'll use Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 as examples here. Both are locked at 30FPS, and both are absolutely gorgeous and fun to play games.
30FPS is hardly going backwards. It's sacrificing a not exactly noticable thing to get more and better effects, better textures, etc.
I do kinda agree. Can get a little out of hand at times.
Still, why should you care what Valve says? I stopped caring what people thought about me in the 3rd grade. I'm sure as heck not gonna lose any sleep over what a company says about my console of choice.
