Anyone else notice that ever since the movie 28 Days Later came out that all Zombie games and movies seem to have gone the cracked out zombie way? The film is a great movie and one of the best zombie flicks ever. But it single handily inadvertently ruined the zombie genre.

Was that sarcasm? Because if my memory serves me well I remember that game being universally panned by critics and gamers alike.
But in the end it will not end well. What goes up must come down.
But history teaches us that will only back fire on them. Look at Nintendo and the N64 and Sony with the PS3. They grew to to sure of themselves. And Nintendo with the N64 also grew complacent. In the end Nintendo will have to either begin to innovate further by releasing a new console or a HD upgrade to the Wii or through grabbing the hardcore again.
you have to market a product for it to succeed. I never saw one ad let alone a commercial for the game.
The real problem with these games is that Capcom and companies like them do not give the games a big marketing push. Nintendo is to blame to. They are to lazy when it comes to promoting their gamer core titles.

360 has a bigger install base and so does the Wii. So it should come as not shock that those games have sold more. The debate is not about if the 360 sells more games. It is about the rumor that no one buys PS3 games which is factually wrong.

Just because a game is considered a classic doesn't mean it can hold a candle to today's shooters. Wolfenstien 3D was a great game for its time but is it really better than Killzone 2? Doom may be a classic but is it better than Doom 3? From now on these lists should be the top 5 modern shooters or the top 5 classic shooters.

Dude you are a hardcore gamer if you are playing for hours a day. I consider myself a core gamer and I only play a max of two hours per day. Sure sometimes on weekends I'll get into a 5 hour gaming session but that is not the norm.
