They did this to me at X-mas when I went to buy my son Sonic Unleashed. It was 20 bucks New and 17.99 used. They sold me an open copy for 20. I tried to argue and really let the dude have it but he basically said take it or leave it. Considering it was 20 bucks everywhere else I just said screw it and bought the thing. I have regretted it ever since. I should have just said screw you guys and filed a complaint with the BBB like LinuxGuru just said.
You can pre-order any game at blockbuster. Even if they are not advertising it.

I just don't understand how and why this type of thing keeps happening. We are all aware that the PS3 is a graphical powerhouse and I don't see why third party developers haven't stepped it up yet. It's like they always want to take the easy way out and lead design with the 360. I guess as a business decision that makes some sense because of the technology, but it doesn't gain them any respect within the industry or from gamers.
I don't see it happening. But honestly if it did, it would be a huge ego blow to Sony and nothing more. I am starting to think that Final Fantasy's brand has been semi tarnished by all the lackluster spin off's and mixed reaction to the last 4 games in the core series.
I couldn't agree more. For me it was a no brainer to buy the PS3 over 360 just for the simple fact that my favorite game series is God of War. Also at the time Final Fantasy figured into the decision as well. But we all know how that went.
And what is natal capable of? Have you seen anything really amazing yet? Besides Casual games. And dpn't say need for speed because driving games should be very simple for Natal style games.

They are different styles.
No one would say that Ju-On is not a horror movie just because it is different than say A Nightmare on Elm Street. America and Japan are different cultures and as such their games should represent those diversities. Final Fantasy is a great series and so is Mass effect. In the end gamers win.
