Actually MS have banned accounts. My friend who had the GT "Corruptor" had his account banned for playing Forza 3 too early. He lost ALL his DLC that he paid for including ALL his NHL 10 perks that he bought. Needless to say he was pissed. Go ahead and check his GT. You will see Forza 3 being the last game played. LOL.

More than likely those that pirate Killzone 3 or any PS3 game is not utilizing a blu-ray burner but rather just transferring it via USB stick and then just saving it onto the PS3 harddrive.

And how many units does it show on Amazon for KZ3? Sure it may be at the #1 spot, but that could just mean it's at 100 copies. If it's not showing the number of units pre-ordered, then how do you know how many units its sold?

The PS3 has about a 47 million install base and KZ2 only sold around 2 million. KZ3 will also sell around 2 million. It WON'T sell a "ton" and it WON'T be embraced by the community. It will end up just like KZ2 and KZ2 did NOT get enough community support nor did it sell a ton.

If you kill off the main protagonist, you kill of the connection people have with the game. People become attached to the main character. They follow his story, his adventures. They feel their pain and enjoyment. How good do you think Uncharted 3 would be if they killed off Nathan Drake and replaced him whith Chole for Uncharted 3? There would be a Sh1t storm. All those games you mentioned are over rated.
LBP2 - In a genre that doesn't have a big following. Look at LBP (4.13 million units sold) over 2 1/2 years with a meta of 95/100.
Killzone 3 - Gameplay > Graphics and Killzone 2 had poor generic gameplay. 2.53 million copies of Killzone 2 sold over 2 years. That's pretty bad for such a high profile title. Don't expect Killzone 3 to be any better.

Meta takes the "average" of an accumulation of reviews.
If you look at Meta, you will see that MANY of the reviews come from big name sites. And you will see that those big name sites felt it was much less than a perfect game.
