does anyone realize that the Chinese bootleg more than they buy? There is over 1 Billion people in China many of which own consumer electronics. Guess how many legal copies of Windows Vista were sold the first week? 246. The chinese don't buy, they bootleg. This really has no effect on the future HD market because people won't be buying the movies, they will be bootlegging them. Money rules and people are paying for Blu-ray.
I have wanted this one and Lair since news of the PS3 surfaced. I can't wait to play it but damn I have too many games now.

the 360's sales are down compared to last year, period. As for Sony's and Nintendo, theirs are up because its their first year. Can Microsoft hang on to its lead? The cheapest HD-DVD player doesn't do 1080p (which is the industry standard of HD) so if you were an informed shopper you'd see that the 1080p player on both side of the debate are about the but the amount of support is clearly on the side of BD.
Have you ever seen a Blu-ray disc? Have you ever seen or bought one? Well I have and I know that they are way more scratch resistant than Dvd's and HD-DVD's, obviously the information on the disc is closer to the surface, thats common knowledge, but they have a protective coating that protects the disc for that very reason. I seen video where they have taken different things and tired to scratch a Blu-ray and it didn't work, you can scratch a dvd with almost anything. I would rather pay a few...
