It doesn't hurt to be hopeful. Just because certain titles to a franchise never made it stateside doesn't mean new titles never stand a chance. Look at Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Super Mario Brothers, Digimon, and the various versions of street fighter. A lot of their titles were never even heard of in the US.

It won't affect me this time. Although I didn't make the mistake of selling my ps2 to get a ps3 I still see backwards compatibility to be too costly. I'd rather keep my ps3 now because I have a lot more than just games invested in it. It also holds my music and movies. I don't want to copy them to yet another system. That'd be another 17 hours of downtime.
You actually want to get it as soon as possible. You might have a few games to download once you get in but a lot of the instant game collection items are time sensitive.

Besides that point being made 'Crosoft will have to do what Sony and 'Tendo did for those third party cameos. That involves a lot of paper work. Hopefully the rights to those characters, while they are being fumble...
The question is...... How many different characters does the Xbox have? A.k.a. fighting styles? They would have to have an equivalent to Nathan Drake and his barrel roll attack.....

Actually the ps move was in development for over ten years. The problem was when Sony first demoed it to the developers no one took any interest to it. So the project was thrown on the back burner until suddenly kinect set it off. A lot of companies do this year round man. When the time is right they set it off. Problem is most of the games didn't take advantage of ps move or the Wii mote. Not even kinect took off that well. The games will slowly get better over time but right now the gam...
To me the 360 controller feels alien to me. It's hard for me to press all the way forward and the d pad is quite crummy. Plus 10 years of Nintendo gaming pretty much has my thumbs in auto pilot when it comes to button commands.
